One of the sweetest experiences I had the pleasure of witnessing was when Nancy was with us at a local assisted living home for senior citizens on a Sunday afternoon for singing and fellowship with those precious folks. She had baked a miniature loaf of her wonderful bread for each individual resident and had personalized their bookmarks. She interacted with each recipient and the gratitude on their faces was a blessing to each of us witnessing this gift of love.

At our church everyone loved the Loaf-of-Life ministry! A visitor was welcomed with this delicious loaf of bread as well as a scripture of love, and the listed ingredients on the label. It was a true blessing to receive this bread! What might seem like a bad thing, our church got excited when on a given Sunday, there were no visitors! That meant some lucky person was about to be the recipient of this wonderful melt-in-your-mouth Loaf-of-Life.

How did you know that this past week has been especially painful for me, missing my Timothy? The Lord knew and has given me precious and priceless gifts each day, reminding me that He understands and longs to comfort me. Thank you for your gift of bread and testimony booklet. I have to confess I sobbed as I read about the loss of your little sister.
Thank you for hearing the Lord's Voice and reaching out to Doug and me. Or maybe it was just for Doug, but I needed it more, at least yesterday. Thank you for being used as God's instrument to soothe and comfort me, and remind me that I will never be forgotten or forsaken by God.

Nancy, The bread is amazing and I would love your recipe sometime and I just finished the book (A Voice for Cindy) which left me with tears. What an amazing story/life you have had and what a testimony. Your sister is happy in heaven and because of her, so many people will see her again one day. Not saying it was good that this happened to her but God used the situation for good.
